Everything shop owners ask us before choosing SajhiloRetail.
SajhiloRetail starts at NPR 12,000 per year for a single counter — about NPR 1,000 a month, one of the most affordable retail POS systems in Nepal. Every plan includes free setup, installation, training, support and updates, so the price you see is the full price. Bigger shops and multi-branch chains choose a larger plan, and quarterly billing is available if you'd rather pay in smaller amounts.
Yes — being easy is the whole point ("sajhilo" means easy in Nepali). The counter screen is built for a queue: scan or search, tap to add, take payment — nothing hidden behind menus. Most cashiers are comfortable within a few hours, free training is included with every plan, and it runs in a normal browser on any phone, tablet or till PC your shop already has.
Yes. SajhiloRetail is deliberately lightweight and works comfortably on ordinary Nepali broadband or 4G — no heavy pages, no big downloads. It does need a connection, but nothing fast.
Your data lives in a proper database with role-based access control, brute-force login protection and a complete activity log — nothing is silently edited or deleted. With our managed hosting, automated backups are included, and you can request a full export of your data anytime. It's your data, always.
Yes — that's exactly what it's built for. A cashier can hold one sale and start another while a customer finishes deciding, and the system is concurrency-safe: two tills can never oversell the same last unit, even clicking at the same moment.
Yes. Data migration is a one-time add-on (NPR 4,000–20,000 depending on volume). We bring across your real product list, opening stock and staff — what your shop actually has, not invented sales history. Your old records stay your record of the past; the new ledger starts clean and honest from go-live.
Yes. Any product without a printed barcode gets one generated automatically, and you can print barcode labels straight from the system. It works with any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner (it just types like a keyboard) and any standard thermal receipt printer.
Yes — the VAT percentage is set once in Site Settings and applied automatically to every sale and invoice, with itemized, printable receipts and A4 tax invoices carrying your business licence number.
Yes — SajhiloRetail installs like a native app on any phone or tablet (PWA), with a home-screen icon and full-screen view. No app store required.
Every plan includes a public website with a live product catalogue pulled straight from the same stock the till sells from — plus a CMS your staff can edit without a developer, and a choice of 12 website themes you can switch anytime.
Payments land in your own Fonepay merchant account — we never hold your money. The system generates a dynamic QR carrying the exact amount, so nobody types a figure, and it's confirmed with Fonepay before being recorded. Prefer not to use it? Switch the gateway off instantly and fall back to your own static QR — cash and card are unaffected either way.
Yes — SajhiloRetail supports multiple stock locations from day one, whether that's a shop floor and a back store, or several branches across town. Choose the Professional plan or above for full multi-store support.
SajhiloRetail is built to work for almost any retail vertical out of the box — grocery, pharmacy, mobile shops, clothing, hardware, electronics, cosmetics and more. Each product can carry the extra details a vertical actually needs (variant, year, size, strength) or none at all, so a hardware shop and a wine shop run on exactly the same system without either one seeing fields that don't apply to them.
Yes. Staff-facing history — attendance in particular — shows Nepali dates (BS) alongside AD.
Free remote onboarding is included with every plan. On-site installation and hands-on training anywhere in Nepal is available at NPR 6,000/day.
